Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. One of the nice things about this new run of the Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day is that a bunch of creative folks have contributed new images from their flicks. We've gotten to debut images sent directly from David Lowery (Pete's Dragon), Nicholas Winding Refn (The Neon Demon) and now we have today's really sweet BTS still from Fede Alvarez taken during the making of Don't Breathe, one of my favorite genre films of the year.
The photo shows Alvarez helping Jane Levy get into character during the rad dog attack in the car scene. As you can see they didn't always have that monstrous hound from hell in every single shot. In fact, Alvarez said that stuffed animal was a key prop in making this scene actually work.
