Hey folks, Harry here... My parents did acid, so of course they knew Alejandro Jodorowsky - and I was exposed early. The guy laying the egg was all that stuck with me until... College. A professor lectured us upon Jodorowsky and I realized. Oh hell, I'm supposed to take this seriously, so I rented everything Alejandro made on VHS - and... I'm pretty sure my exposure to Beat Poets and a greater level of adventure in my taste for cinema opened my mind to understanding that realism is often times the death of the magic of cinema. If you look at film to see only a reflection of our world, you miss the possibilities of being completely immersed in the mind of an artist who only wants you to THINK. Think about what you're seeing. And hold on, cuz this isn't normal cinema, it's abby normal - and that's just dandy!
