“Hot Tub Time Machine”/“Knocked Up” co-stars Adam Scott and Craig Robinson are developing for Fox “Ghosted,” a sitcom about a Mulder-type believer and a Scully-like non-believer hired by something called the Underground Investigative Service to investigate unexplained activity in Los Angeles.
The prospective pilot is being scripted by Tom Gormican, who wrote and directed the movie “That Awkward Moment.” If you’ve not seen “Moment,” know that 12 percent of “top critics” polled by Rotten Tomatoes gave it a positive review.
Robinson’s TV work includes 120 episodes of NBC’s “The Office,” seven episodes of “Mr. Robot” and the short-lived sitcom “Mr. Robinson.” His big-screen credits include the post-“Knocked Up” Seth Rogen movies “Pineapple Express,” “This Is The End” and “Sausage Party.”
Scott appeared in 97 episodes of “Parks and Recreation,” 20 episodes of “Party Down,” 10 episodes of “Tell Me You Love Me,” six episodes of “Murder One,” six episodes of “Burning Love” and the “Wonderfalls” pilot. His big-screen credits include “Star Trek: First Contact,” “The Aviator,” “Step Brothers,” “The Guilt Trip,” “Black Mass,” “Krampus” and “My Blind Brother.”
