Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today's BTS pic, another goodie from the archives of effects dude Steve Johnson.

Today's picture is interesting in that it's early effects work for a film that ended up not happening. In the late '90s Jonathan Hensleigh tried to launch a Hulk film that was weird as hell. Gale Anne Hurd was producing (she later went on to produce both the Ang Lee and Louis Leterrier Hulk films) and it came close to happening. Not close enough.
In the film the Hulk fought radioactive bug men and the below is a life-sized build for one of these Hulk Bug people. You can tell even by the look on the faces of the guys in this picture that they knew this was silly as shit.
