Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Just when you thought Sherlock Holmes was stretched thin between TV, books and films, another project arrives on the scene and forces you to ponder, then exclaim "I'll allow it."
Talladega Nights and Step-Brothers co-stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are jumping into Holmes and Watson, which will start filming this November per Deadline. Ferrell will be Holmes and Reilly will be Watson for director Etan Cohen (Get Hard director and writer of good stuffs like Idiocracy and Tropic Thunder).
Yes, it will be a comedy and not a serious take on the Holmes canon and yes, that means I'm super into it. You, too? Did we just become best friends!?!
