Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm so glad Robert Zemeckis has come out of his animation period. And I'm saying that as someone who actually liked Beowulf and A Christmas Carol.
Zemeckis has such a cinematic eye that even though the performance capture process gave him all the freedom he wanted it still couldn't substitute for the void his live action stuff left.
His last two features were solid, but Allied looks absolutely great. Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard and WW2 through Zemeckis' lens? Sign me the fuck up!

If the movie is half as good as this teaser promises then I'll be giddy. I'm a sucker for a high production value WW2 story and with the pedigree behind this one I expect good things!
