Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Comedy sequels aren't exactly on fire these days. Dumb and Dumber and Anchorman both kinda fizzled out. I'm hoping against hope that Bad Santa 2 somehow comes out good.
The trailer below sends me mixed messages. On the one hand you have a lot of call backs, but on the other hand you have what appears to be a fully invested Billy Bob Thornton totally back in his full on Willie Soke persona and killing it.
If the whole movie was just Willie and Marcus sitting down at a table throwing insults back and forth at each other I'd be the happiest boy on earth. It won't be that, obviously, but it's that completely wrong and hurtful shit they spew at each other that gives me hope for this sequel.
Be warned that there are boobies in this trailer and NSFW language stuffs. Makes you want to watch it even more, doesn't it? I have you figured out!
