Hey folks, Harry here... IFC Midnight has this film, DEVIL'S DOLLS coming to theaters August 19th - and it has to do with supernatural dolls meant to cause harm. As soon as I saw the title, I flashed to the old Tod Browning flick THE DEVIL-DOLL from 1936 which starred Lionel Barrymore (Old Man Potter from IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE) and Maureen O'Sullivan (Johnny Weismuller's Tarzan's Jane). Basically the films are completely unrelated, the 1936 one dealt with miniaturized people - I mention it - because - well, I am all kinds of sweet on that movie. This new DEVIL'S DOLLS is more supernatural and an out and out horror film, rather than a crime film with a science angle. It hasn't gotten strong reviews - but you never know with low budget horror - funky reviews could have come from total wusses that don't love horror, but review it. Or they could be dead right. We'll see soon enough! Here's the trailer:
Keep it cool,
Harry
