Gilliam's resurrected QUIXOTE flick nabs Willem Dafoe and Stellan Skarsgard!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Den of Geek found some interesting casting information surrounding Terry Gilliam's resurrected Don Quixote project. You no doubt remember his last one that God decided to destroy (as documented in the great doc Lost In La Mancha) which would have starred Johnny Depp as a time traveler who somehow ends up mistaken by Quixote for his sidekick, Sancho Panza.

That film died 15 years ago, but you gotta give Terry Gilliam credit for his determination. He's stuck with it and kept fighting the good fight and it looks like he's finally got the movie together at last.

Adam Driver will be playing the lead, Michael Palin will be Quixote and now it seems that Willem Dafoe and Stellan Skarsgard will be in the mix as well. It's unknown who they'll play, but the Den of Geek guys speculate that Dafoe's the baddie of the picture.

Any time we hear there's a new Terry Gilliam movie on the horizon it's good news. This one in particular feels like a win if it can get through production since the deck seemed so stacked against Gilliam for so long on it. I'm pulling for the dude and can't wait to see what he does with it.
