Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Whiplash director Damien Chazelle is finally back behind the camera with his next flick, LA LA LAND, a musical romance starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. No matter how the movie ends up we know it's at least going to look gorgeous. Check out the trailer below:
I kind of love that Gosling's singing voice isn't super professional. Reminds me of the great '60s and '70s Disney musicals where they didn't care if the singers were professional, just that they were charismatic while doing their numbers (I'm looking at you Shelley Winters in Pete's Dragon).
I'm not saying Gosling's a bad singer (he's at least in key, sorry Shelley). He's natural about it and not overly trained.
Anyway, can't wait for the movie! What about you?
