The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day: Miko Hughes gets a lifecast for Pet Sematary!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Happy Sunday! I promised you an evil kid BTS pic today and so I deliver. Hope some of you are still wearing your church best as I deliver unto you what could be the most adorable picture of one of the creepiest kids ever put to film.

Below you'll find little Miko Hughes getting delicately life-cast for his role as Gage Creed in Mary Lambert's ultra creepy adaptation of Stephen King's Pet Sematary. You'll remember that bad things happen to that cute kid and his grief-stricken father decides maybe a trip up to the haunted Indian burial ground in the woods behind his house will solve things.

They needed a lifecast for whatever animatronic or dummy to be used in the film. There are some shots from behind where he's holding a scalpel that probably resulted from the lifecast we see being made in the below picture.

Check it out:

I especially like that they used Disney character Happy Meal toys to keep him occupied during this long-ish process. Ayuh, I like this one.

Tomorrow's pic features three friends (but no sweaters). See ya' then!
