Here's a Clip From the Michael Jai White, Jason Mewes, Michael Madsen film VIGILANTE DIARIES

Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here on this beautiful Monday morning with a clip for a film I was able to catch last week, THE VIGILANTE DIARIES. I’ll be frank, this is a fun movie. It has some wildly impressive camera moves (like the first time we see Michael Jai White) as well as some incredibly cheesy dialogue. There are explosions, topless ladies, and macho-man phrases thrown around like piñata candy… While there are obvious echoes to films like THE EXPENDABLES, COMMANDO, and even PULP FICTION (in terms of chapter/time line fun), the highlight of the film hands down is when Jason Mewes is on screen. The film’s like a frat house cocktail, injected with humor and pretty much everything being over the top, so the silliness of Mewes’s character actually does fit and gives a little humor to an already amped up “boom! explosion! knife throw!” kind of vibe. I enjoyed the movie very much and fully realize it might not be for everyone, as there really are a few cringe worthy lines in the flick, but even those didn’t take me out of the thing, more like subtle road humps that stood out as “That was a odd thing to say at this moment, where there’s XYZ happening.” It’s a movie that exists in 2016, but feels like the late 80’s would have suited it better. Again, I had a lot of fun with it and expect it to do well when it comes out. The movie will be released in select theaters and iTunes this Friday, June 24th.

Here’s a clip from the film that features Jason Mewes doing his thing. Rest assured, despite this clip pretty much featuring Mewes in one location by himself – he actually has a few badass fight scenes (believe it!) that are choreographed to perfectly fit his style of humor (Like how Jackie Chan gets creative with his weapons in some of his sillier films).
