New Featurette on Spielberg's THE BFG plus his Wade Watts in the real ECTO 88, ya know from READY PLAYER ONE!!!

Hey folks, Harry here with a couple of cool Spielberg bits! First, let's dive into the Steven Spielberg film that is coming shortly. Yup, what I've gots for ya is a featurette called RUBY BARNHILL'S FAVORITE MOMENTS... Personally, I'm willing to bet Ruby, who plays Sophie in THE BFG based upon Roald Dahl's THE BFG, but which was written by Melissa Matheson... well I bet she has a great deal more fave moments than what was included below. Here, let's have a look see...

See what I mean, that's awfully short. But fun! I can't wait to see this flick, but I'd be lying if I wasn't looking ahead to the next film that the Beard is undertaking. Well, recently here in Austin, Ernest Cline, author of READY PLAYER ONE, found out that the young actor that plays Wade Watts aka Parzival... a Mr Tye Sheridan (Cyclops) lives here in Austin, so he took him to the Alamo Drafthouse for a screening of RAIDERS! with the RAIDERS GUYS, you know the story of the greatest fan film ever made, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK: THE ADAPTATION! Anyway, as Ernie Cline's sweet fucking ride is an actual custom DeLorean that is the pitch perfect reproduction of the ECTO 88 that he described first in that book, then made reality with the fortune & glory that book rightfully bestowed upon him. SO - let it be known - that the first time Tye Sheridan, WADE OWEN WATTS, ever took the wheel of that most legendary of human transportation devices... the fabled ECTO 88, it was here in Austin, in front of the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE SOUTH - where such legendary events must occur. Behold:

And here is READY PLAYER ONE Author and long time friend of AICN's ERNIE CLINE and the physical manifestation of his Wade Watts, Tye Sheridan inside his ECTO 88!!! Adding to that smile is that shortly before this, he learned John Williams was committed to creating the score for READY PLAYER ONE, geek dreams do come true!!!

Keep it cool,

Harry
