Mel Gibson Ginning Up Sequel To
THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST!!

I am – Hercules!!

Randall Wallace, who scripted Mel Gibson’s “Braveheart,” says he is hard at work on a sequel to “Passion of the Christ” for Gibson.

It will focus on Jesus’ resurrection.

Wallace, who co-wrote 2014’s Christian-friendly “Heaven Is For Real,” recently scripted the Gibson-directed “Hacksaw Ridge,” the biography of army medic Desmond Doss due out in November.

2004’s Gibson-directed “Passion of the Christ” has been described as the most successful independent film of all time with a worldwide gross north of $611 million ($370 million of it in the U.S. and Canada).

A Gibson-free movie about the same resurrection, “Risen,” earned $46 million worldwide following its release in February.
