Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Variety has some pretty damn good news for us tonight. Looks like the Dynamic Duo of Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson are looking to reteam for an as yet Untitled drama set in the fashion scene of the 1950s.
Other than PTA's favorite production house Annapurna being involved there are no other solid details. The movie's still being written and Daniel Day-Lewis isn't signed, but wants to do it. That leaves us just to wonder at this particular match of director and actor who made a meteoric impact with their previous collaboration. There Will Be Blood is the kind of movie that not only lodges firmly into your brain, it's the kind of movie that gets better ever single time you see it.
Also gotta point out PTA's talent at shooting period flicks. One of the most gorgeous films I've seen in recent memory was the brand new 70mm print of The Master sparking up for the first time at the Alamo Ritz. It was hypnotizing.
