Ambush Bug here with a snippet of terror from the upcoming horror film CLOWN. I’ve been trying to check this film out, but haven’t seen it yet. It’ll be available in select theaters and On Demand on June 17th and is directed by John Watts (who directed the infectiously fun COP CAR and looks to be on tap to direct the upcoming SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING film) and produced by Eli Roth. The film stars Peter Stormare, Laura Allen, Andy Powers and Elizabeth Whitmere and here is what it is all about;
CLOWN is a story of a loving father who dons a clown outfit and makeup to perform at his son’s sixth birthday, only to later discover that the costume – red nose and wig included– will not come off and his own personality changes in a horrific fashion. To break the curse of the evil outfit, the father must make grim choices with his own family facing danger.
This could be cool and having written my own clown horror comic book, it is definitely something that’s been on my radar for a while. Check out the clip below and see if this is something for you or will your fear of clowns keep you away!?!
