Hey folks, Harry here... I'm still tripping out that Hasbro now owns DUNGEONS & DRAGONS... But the film is set up over at Warner Brothers which has just brought on SHARK TALE & GOOSEBUMPS director Rob Letterman to direct off of David Leslie Johnson (WRATH OF THE TITANS scribe). I enjoyed GOOSEBUMPS, it was very much a fun movie... but hopefully there's no tonal qualities that that film shares with a great DUNGEONS & DRAGONS film. Dying to read the script to this one. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS doesn't need to be a goofy kids flick... Not that Letterman can only do that - He definitely has the VFX experience, but I want a truly epic DUNGEONS & DRAGONS movie. A great adventure. My greatest confidence in this comes from Producer Roy Lee. I just hope he and Rob nail this film perfect! There is no announced date for production or release yet. But let's hope they spend the time to get the story and casting and pre-production perfect. I've had enough shitty DnD experiences!
Honestly - if they announced this was the material being adapted I'd feel better...
