Adam Driver in, Michael Shannon out for Steve Soderbergh's LOGAN LUCKY!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Steven Soderbergh's NASCAR heist flick LOGAN LUCKY is adding two names to the cast as one significant one drops out, per Deadline.

Michael Shannon had to drop out because of schedule conflicts. He's opting for Guillermo del Toro's movie instead. However, Soderbergh looks to be landing none other than Kylo Ren himself, Mr. Adam Driver for the flick. Apparently Seth McFarlane is also in negotiations, which is an odd choice for Soderbergh, but one I can roll with if the tone of the movie is light enough.

Channing Tatum is still attached as well, which means there's a whole lot of charm in front of the camera already, which is crucial when you're trying to pull off a heist story. You gotta be invested in the people trying to pull off the heist or you have 2 hours of not caring if they pull it off or not.

Interesting cast. I can tell I already miss Michael Shannon in the mix, but that's kinda true of everything in life, isn't it?
