Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with a trailer for a film that absolutely has my attention. While I just heard of it yesterday, the film's already gathering traction as it's set to premiere in a few weeks at the Newport Beach Film Festival on the 25th. Directors Adam Levins and Julian T. Pinder previously have created films like ESTRANGED, TROUBLE IN THE PEACE, and JESUS TOWN, USA. What intrigues me the most about this film is I honestly can't tell you if this is made up or not. Sure, Google is only a few key strokes away... but where's the fun in that? The trailer below presents an oddity of a scenario which has me wanting to know/see more, so count me in.
In 2009 three young men were killed in a remote area of Yellowstone National Park. Only hours later, Dwayne Nelson walks into a ranger station miles away and confesses to the crime. Despite his detailed confession, Nelson goes free because of a loophole in the American Constitution. Documentarian Julian T. Pinder travels to Yellowstone in a chase for truth behind a crime that should have rocked the nation. How did the United States Constitution let a guilty man go free? In POPULATION ZERO we find the only thing more shocking than this senseless act of violence may be the bizarre events that followed.
