There's already a Batman v Superman Deleted Scene and it's weeeiiiiirrrddd...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Batman v Superman made all the money this weekend (surprise surprise) and in a relatively unusual move Warner Bros has already released a deleted scene. There are going to be much more to delve into with this one as anybody who has seen this obviously choppy movie can deduce.

This one gives us a slight hint at why Lex Luthor is babbling about something coming at the end of the movie. Let's give it a watch:

As someone not very familiar with DC books I had to turn to the internet for help explaining what the hell this meant (which is probably why Snyder cut it out of the movie in the first place since I imagine the vast majority of the BvS audience isn't thoroughly educated on all of DC's history). The main theory is that the creature glimpsed is Steppenwolf, who in the comics was one of Darkseid's Elite (and also human-like, not a crazy horned monster thing).

Steppenwolf being there while Luthor is hanging out in the goo pool could be the reason Luthor's all crazy with Darkseid visions now.

Gonna be interesting to see what further deleted scenes make it out before Blu-Ray or the much-discussed Director's Cut. Thoughts?
