Big dip for “American Idol” in its second week.
That dip was not helpful to Fox’s premiere of “Second Chance,” which retained less than half of “Idol’s” diminished audience.
“American Crime,” which got really low ratings last season, was the least watched show on the Big Four last Wednesday, despite following ABC’s powerhouse sitcom block.
“American Crime” tied the season finale of “American Horror Story,” which hit its worst finale score ever despite standing as the top show on cable that night. “Horror” was long ago renewed for next season.
