Ok... So that's a blip on the EKG... Then... Shortly after... There's an announcement that WANDA GROUP out of China have made a deal for "over 50% of Legendary Pictures" for a deal between $3 Billion and $4 Billion. So are the two related? Thomas Tull is to remain as the CEO running the day to day operations. And it's curious to see Guillermo tweeting about PACIFIC RIM 2 when the FANTASTIC VOYAGE news was just trending all over the web a few days back.
As for PACIFIC RIM 2 moving forward? That makes me delighted at ever level. CRIMSON TYPHOON is currently threatening a HATEFUL EIGHT Snowglobe here, but I'm pretty sure that's not a spoiler.
