Stop-motion animated film festival fav ANOMALISA gets a reflective new poster!

Hey folks, Scurlock here.

Director and Academy Award-winning writer Charlie Kaufman's stop-motion animated offering made the film festival rounds to plenty of acclaim. Premiering at Telluride in September, it also hit Venice and Toronto before snagging distribution from Paramount Pictures. It is currently sitting at a prime 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The very adult, animated drama tells the story of Michael Stone, voiced by THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING actor David Thewlis, an author of books on customer service, struggling with an inability to connect with people. While on a business trip he meets baked goods sales rep Lisa (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who changes him deeply.

Filling out the casting trio is Tom Noonan (12 MONKEYS, HELL ON WHEELS) voicing everyone else. Seriously, all of the other people.

Check out this just-released new poster courtesy of Slash Film for ANOMALISA ahead of its limited December 30 theater release, as well as the trailer in case you missed it:

Don't fret if ANOMALISA doesn't hit your particular cinema quite yet, as it is set to receive an expanded release sometime in January.
