The CW says of “Legends Of Today”:
In its second major crossover event with "Arrow," Vandal Savage arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders. After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay to test it out.
For those unaware, Hawkman will join The Atom, Firestorm and Rip Hunter to continue his battle with Savage on “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” the CW miniseries spin-off launching Jan. 21.

- After suffering his first public defeat and a broken back, Barry second guessed himself as Central City's savior and was haunted by his encounter with Zoom as he gradually regained the use of his legs, his super speed, and with a little encouragement from his visiting dad....his confidence, while making the mistake of covering lies with more lies in his relationship with Patty.
- Earth-2's Harrison Wells and Team Flash finally warmed up to each other when he helped them deal with a returning Gorilla Grodd by posing as his former master Reverse Flash. After his assistance, Team Flash agreed to help Wells rescue his daughter from Zoom, close the multiple breaches around Central City allowing him to slip in and out of their world, and hopefully defeat him once and for all.
- Wells also mentions that recreating Reverse Flash's costume carrying ring for Barry should be right up his alley of expertise.
- After stealing various serums that would heighten one's intelligence, Grodd kidnapped Caitlin Snow and demanded she help make others like him. Once rescued by Cisco and Wells, Team Flash put a plan in motion to lure Grodd to the location of a certain breach that led to an African rain forest refuge on Earth-2 for genetically experimented apes.
- Iris was taken aback upon hearing her father question what his life would've been like if he had a son of his own after seeing the bond Barry shared with Henry. Something she learned was in fact a reality weeks earlier when she told her estranged mother not to reveal to Joe that he had a son he never met.
- Cisco realized that there may be more to Kendra Saunders than it seems when he got a vibe of her alter-ego...
