WONDER WOMAN 1 is totally gonna be in WW1 for reals!

Hey folks, Harry here...  I think it fascinating that WONDER WOMAN will be set during "the war to end all wars," of course, the optimism of that nickname for World War 1 - could lead to her distrust and further pessimism with MANkind.   That we as a society can repeatedly throw generations away to sow the earth with their precious bodily fluids... well, the only people that truly want this are people that cowardly count their overfull coffers of blood money...  but - hey, let's not go crazy here.   Of course, the setting of World War 1 does make me wonder about a few Wonder Woman things.   Would Wonder Woman have an Invisible JET during WW1 or an INVISIBLE BIPLANE?  They'll probably just have Wonder Woman being able to fly, as the cartoon and comics have done... in which case, imagining a flying Wonder Woman chopping the Kaiser's Luftwaffe's wings off would be killer, of course saving the babe in peril, aka Captain  Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine.

The WW1 setting was visually confirmed due to a massive amount of set photos that the DAILY MAIL has posted over at their site!  I dig this, because the fashion will be fascinating.  It was in this era, where Annette Kellerman, the silent movie star and star of New York's amazing Hippodrome was arrested for being in a one-piece bathing suit that covered her legs and arms, because women in this era swam in essentially elaborate dresses.   And WONDER WOMAN's costume - and Wonder Woman's attitude is and always has been incredibly progressive.   Placing her in a more restrictive Male society, well... it could be absolutely perfect.  According to the Apex Scoop Predator EL MAYIMBE, this WW1 stuff is just the first half of the film.  Hmmmm... So curious.

Check out the images at The Daily Mail - and see what you think.  Personally, the most exciting part of this movie is Director Patty Jenkins!  WONDER WOMAN is due out in 2017, so this film has a good long lead to get it right, I hope.

Keep it Cool,

Harry

P.S. - I'd love to see Etta Candy in this film!
