While ratings for “The Walking Dead” went up last week, ratings for AMC’s “Into The Badlands,” from the creators of “Shanghai Noon” and “Smallville,” went way down. (Watch them go down a whole lot more when “Walking Dead” goes on hiatus after tonight.) I hear Chris Hardwick loves the way “Badlands” keeps sucking away his “Talking Dead” audience.
“The Leftovers” barely squeezed back onto Sunday’s top 100 cable shows last week, but squeezed on it did. No word on a third season yet, but HBO did once renew “The Ricky Gervais Show” after it scored a bunch of 0.0s.
“The Simpsons” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” again bested “Family Guy,” which three weeks ago hit a new series low in the key 18-49 demo.
