‘I’m Just Getting Started!!’ Promo For AGENT CARTER Season Two!!

I am – Hercules!!

Returning from “Agent Carter’s” first season are James D’Arcy as Stark butler Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj and Chad Michael Murray as Peggy’s fellow SSR agents Daniel Sousa and Jack Thompson, Bridget Regan as Soviet superassassin Ida “Dottie Underwood” Emke, and Lyndsy Fonseca as Peggy's waitress pal Angie Martinelli.

Dutch former model Lotte Verbeek, who played Lidewij in “The Fault in Our Stars,” will join the cast as Edwin Jarvis’ wife Ana, who will help Peggy assimilate now that the future SHIELD founder is now working out of 1947 Los Angeles.

There was also some question regarding whether we’d see the return of Dominic Cooper, who played the 1940s version of Howard Stark (Jarvis’ boss and Iron Man’s dad) in “Agent Carter” and Chris Evans’ first Captain America movie. Marvel announced at New York Comic Con Friday that, despite Cooper starring also in AMC's comic-derived "Preacher" series, the actor would indeed reprise the role of Howard Stark for season two. (“Mad Men” vet John Slattery played an older Howard Stark in 2010’s “Iron Man 2” and this year’s “Ant-Man”).

Wynn Everett (Charlie Wilson’s receptionist in Aaron Sorkin’s “Charlie Wilson’s War” and booker/associate producer Tamara Hart in Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroom”) will be introduced as inventor/actress (!) Whitney Frost. Introduced in 1968’s Tales of Suspense #98, the print version of Frost was a crime boss who came to be known as Madame Masque, an enemy of Tony Stark whose mask hides a face disfigured in a plane crash.

Captain America’s 1940s girlfriend returns to ABC Jan. 5.

(If you liked “Agent Carter” last season and can't wait till next year, you should take a gander at Marvel’s “Jessica Jones,” now streaming in its entirety over on Netflix.)
