George Miller's Wonder Woman sees light of day in photos for his could've been JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.

Hey folks, Scurlock here.

Princess Diana of Themyscira has had a difficult go of things on the live-action front since forever. Wonder Woman on any screen save for a rather robust presence in animation hasn't actually been a thing since Lynda Carter donned the tactical bathing suit and Lasso of Truth in the mid-seventies. In the interim, it's been less Amazonian royalty, more The Greatest American Hero; lots of valiant efforts to get her in theaters and on networks, lots of embarassing (slightly hilarious) crashing and burning.

Which makes the fact that one such ultimately failed effort very nearly graced the world with a Wonder Woman viewed through the lens of George Miller all the more painful, with an entire Justice League cast and ready to rumble to boot. Goddamnit.

Alas, she is a-comin' in the form of Gal Gadot in Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE, with a much-deserved stand-alone film tentatively slated for 2017. While we've gotten a gander at Gal's getup for her debut, we're just now getting a look at how Miller's Wonder Woman would've appeared, via his pick for the iconic role, Megan Gale. Check 'er out below:

Fancy, amarite? And expectedly so, coming from the talented folks at Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop. One can only wonder what incredible, iconic moments George Miller could have gifted the moviegoing community with had his interpretation of Wonder Woman, and the Justice League as a whole, come to fruition. An undeniable master at his craft, the visionary behind HAPPY FEET surely had the great potential to blow us away.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD was pretty good too. Whatever, I dunno.

What do ya' think? Does Miller's Wonder Woman pack the same visual wallop as Snyder's?
