Early next year the immortal DC Comics supervillain Vandal Savage (Danish actor Caspar Crump) will serve as the Big Bad on the CW miniseries “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” taking on the iconic Justice League superheroes Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Firestorm and The Atom, as well as time traveler Rip Hunter. (Why doesn’t Hunter just travel back in time and kill the murderous Savage before a meteorite turns him immortal? This is something I presume Hunter will explain at some point.)
But before we’ll see Savage deal with those heroes, it looks like he’ll contend with two other Justice Leaguers: The Flash and The Green Arrow. The 2015 Flash/Arrow crossover begins Dec. 1.
