This is not the first time Trump has hosted SNL (check out April 3, 2004 episode), and it’s not the first time someone actively campaigning for the U.S. presidency has hosted (Al Sharpton hosted Dec. 6, 2003; his musical guest was Pink).
Everyone seems to agree last week’s pilot for “Ash Vs. Evil Dead” is wildly entertaining. More controversial is the second episode arriving on Starz tonight. I absolutely adore 1.2, which feels like something Sam Raimi wrote and directed, even though he didn’t write or direct it.
