RJ Cyler, unlike the rest of his fellow POWER RANGERS, played a role you might remember in a movie you might’ve seen: Earl in ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL.
David Yost, who played the original Blue Ranger, Billy, was the second-longest running cast member on the original RANGERS seriers, and even spent time out of the suit acting as a mentor to the newer, younger rangers as time went on.
It’s uncertain whether Cyler will play the “brain” of the group, like Billy was, but it’s nice to have someone in there whose prior work we can easily reference.
