Quint's Video Interview With Furious 7's Tyrese Gibson Covers Cars, Family, the Middle East and Tex Mex Rolls!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to be in the room with a brilliant interviewer? Well, sadly I can't help you with that, but I can show you what it's like to be there live when I talk to someone.

Since AICN has always been on the cutting edge of technology, we're just now starting to dip our toes into the video content and while I've done a few in the previous years, this is the first real one that looks like the kinda stuff you'd see on Hitfix or Collider.

Apologies for the crudeness of the editing. I did it all by myself and as you can see I'm not exactly fluent with editing software. There are some audio level issues, but all in all it cut together pretty well and it actually feels like one of my interviews, not the standard 3 minute Q&A back and forth to get one 10 second soundbite that most of these junket style video interviews tend to be, so I'm happy.

This interview with Tyrese Gibson was the cherry on top of that crazy Abu Dhabi trip I wrote about this morning. He was a tad tired from a night (reportedly) out partying with Abu Dhabi royalty, celebrating his chart-topping album Black Rose.

We talk a little bit about the Middle East, why the Fast and Furious franchise has grown so popular and even touch on his social media campaign to play Green Lantern. Enjoy!

Maybe someday we'll get a real editor (Lord knows I could use one) and find someone to make one of those flashy cool video intro pieces. Hell, maybe we can get James Earl Jones to record a “This... is AICN.” Probably not, but there's nothing wrong with hoping!

Sorry you had to look at my face and hear my voice, but I hope guys dug it.

Furious 7 is out on Blu-Ray today and if you're feeling super fancy you can even buy a giant tire filled all 7 of the Fast and Furious films. I'm not kidding:
