Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Dogtooth is a huge favorite among film critics. The way director Yorgos Lanthimos frames an absurd conceit as almost mundane in it's basic reality really tickles the funnybones of a lot of serious cinephiles. He's somewhere between Wes Anderson and Charlie Kaufman.
His next film looks to be just as crazy, but possibly more attractive to the more casual film-goer. The bigger names in the cast helps that, but the fantasy concept taken as reality just feels more accessible on the whole, at least to me.
This is the part where I'd give you a little summary of what the movie is, but why do that when there's a perfectly good trailer to do it for me?

This is one of the titles playing Fantastic Fest this year and it's way way way way at the top of my priority list. Can't wait!
