New This Week

The fifth season of “The Walking Dead” began with Tyreese’s rescue of Judith and Carol’s assault on Terminus. Then we met twitchy preacher Gabriel. The Martin (aka Evil Glenn) returned. Beth found herself captured by cops in a hospital. Rick made life difficult for those cops. Aaron tried to usher Rick & Co. to his group’s sanctuary and got smacked around for his trouble. Carol did some threatening. Morgan Jones returned. And Rick tried to convince Deanna that the town doctor should die. The cops in the hospital didn’t much work for me, but I recall finding it a solid season otherwise.
