I’m so happy this 10 half-hour Starz series seems to better resemble “Army of Darkness” than Sam Raimi’s other “Evil Dead” movies.
Raimi and star Bruce Campbell assure us that they are taking full advantage of Starz’ pay-cable permissiveness, which allows filmmakers to do things Regal, AMC and Cinemark would find patently verboten.
Raimi co-wrote and directed the first episode, which airs Halloween.
