Hey folks, Harry here... - You excited about THE HATEFUL EIGHT yet? For me, the Western is the purest form of American Cinema. It helped create the rhythms and beats of the action genre. It influenced world cinema in a manner that made the United States feel iconic, bigger than life. The genre itself is infinitely flexible - and I'm also someone that believes all great directors must try their hand at the genre. When Quentin recently said that he must have 3 Westerns under his belt before he call himself a Western film director... and knowing this is the 2nd one... and hoping we're going to get another from him. Well, that's great. THOUGH - I really do want Quentin to do his Fulci film or his TOHO film or his remake of THE PSYCHIC. In fact, I just want as many future Tarantino films as possible.
