THE SHEE has totally hit the Blumhouse Fan!!!!

Hey folks, Harry here...   Ciarán Foy, who came on the scene with THE CITADEL at SXSW back in 2012 - and it was a nice low budget asskicker.   He's also the director behind SINISTER 2 for Blumhouse - and Jason Blum and company must be mighty happy with that, cuz Mr Foy has drawn the assignment of directing THE SHEE.   Now, we hear this film will be set in 1960's Ireland and centers upon a young disturbed lady with a violent past, who is going to a remote island where things get worse.  That last part I surmise based upon the output of Blumhouse movies, which rarely have happy endings.

Now, what are THE SHEE?   Nothing is mentioned of the title, but when I realized it was  a period Irish "suspense" film, I did a bit of looking and discovered that THE SHEE were a group of fairy folk, that according to Celtic Mythology...  were problematic.   Now, does that mean that has anything to do with this?   I don't know, but the Shee of Celtic Mythology could move through the air, shapeshift and did all manners of trouble.   Sounds possible for a Blumhouse production.

We'll keep an eye out for this, especially if SINISTER 2 kicks ass.

Keep it cool,

Harry
