Hey folks, Harry here... with more news on another sequel, albeit one that I know not everyone will be happy about. Yup, the sequel to Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND, this time called ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS and due out May 27th, 2016! Here ya go:
This is being directed by James Bobin (FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, THE MUPPETS, MUPPET MOST WANTED) - in fact, he's already wrapped... back in October of 2014. It's just, as you would imagine, this is a very heavy post-production film. Burton's first was his most trippy descent into the realm CG ever - even more than his Wonka turn. We'll be introduced to Johnny Depp's MAD HATTER's Father, who is being played by Rhys Ifans. I wouldn't be surprised if they debut our first look at the film at D23 this weekend.
