Didja like those trailers the other day? Didja?
Well, here’s the first teaser poster for the Merc with the Mouth’s feature debut (ahem), and it’s more simple and straightforward (read: typical) than what we’ve seen of the film so far. Which is probably wise thinkin’; there’s no guarantee this level of meta-awareness (or this amount of Ryan Reynolds) in a big superhero flick will appeal to a few hundred million dollars worth of prospective ticket-buyers, so to be safe, you need to tease them in with something a little more base and generic. Like, say, a cool logo and a handjob joke.
Whatever it takes to get the kids in the theater. But hell, I kinda like it.
Expect a whole mess of wiseass character posters of Deadpool providing all sorts of puns and poses before this lands in theaters next February.
