Hey folks, Ambush Bug here. Look for my regular AICN HORROR column in a little bit, but first, I wanted to make you aware of a new film by REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA director Darren Lynn Bousman that is touring the country throughout the late summer and fall. It’s call ALLELUIA!: THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL which is the sequel to THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL which toured the country a few years ago. Ditching the studio route, Bousmann and co-writer/producer Terrence Zdunich have been touring the film themselves making doing mini-events along the way. I reviewed the original film here and look forward to seeing this sequel.

Sing Like An Angel Song Contest
The Designer is selecting a few stylish singers for Heaven's chorus. He wants to hear your spiritous rendition of his fabulous stitch song “Only By Design”, featured in the new musical film ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL.
In this scene, June (Emilie Autumn), Cora (Lyndon Smith) and a class of hopeful Applicants are given a tour of the seventh floor of Heavenly Productions, Incorporated. There, The Designer (David Hasselhoff) demonstrates that everything in Heaven is by design. After watching The Designer swagger and croon, do you think you have enough strut to make his cut? To find out, film yourself performing a karaoke cover of his dashing ditty and upload your video to YouTube. All manner of creativity and sass are welcome, just be sure to include “Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival Song Contest” in your title and “Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival” in your YouTube tags. Then, submit your link for The Designer's consideration.
Submissions are due by 11:59PM on FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2015. The winners will be screened before thousands of Saints and Sinners on the Alleluia! Road Tour, which kicks off this August.
