I gather Reed, Ben and Johnny don’t make it to another dimension at the end of this clip because, of course, Sue Storm’s not along for the ride. There’s some dude with a beard in her chamber.
I hated Fox’s first two “Fantastic Four” movies so much! This new one, directed by Josh Trank (“Chronicle”), seems to be based on Mark Millar’s Ultimate Fantastic Four comic books, which I loved for many reasons but especially for the hot nerd love-story shared by teen wunderkinds Reed Richards and Sue Storm.
This is also the first “Four” movie since Fox hired Millar – who wrote the comics on which the superb “Kick-Ass” and “Kingsman” were based – as its Marvel uberconsultant.
Marvel rockets Grimm, Richards, the Storms and Victor Domashev into cinemas next Thursday.
