Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. As the summer film season begins to wind down all eyes are turning to the Fall and Winter releases. Toronto has announced some flicks and movie nerds the world over are bracing for a new Star Wars film, a new Spielberg film, a new Bond film, a new del Toro film, a new Ridley Scott film and a new Tarantino film.
Now, with the release of their red band trailer, I think a lot of of us have added The Night Before to that list. I mean, I'm not comparing a vulgar Seth Rogen comedy to frickin' Spielberg, but you know what I mean.
I'm in the camp that really adores the grown manchild humor Rogen is so great at and when you throw in the 50/50 director (and co-star) and add a little Anthony Mackie into the equation you've got my ass in a seat.
Here's the potty-mouthed trailer for a film that Rogen described on Twitter as a film "made by Jews, about Christmas and opens on Thanksgiving."
