Via BBC and the actor’s ‘Spotlight’ page (essentially an online resume) comes word that Jonathan Aris…
….has been cast in ROGUE ONE, the STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY film scheduled for release December 2016.
He’ll evidently be playing ‘Senator Jebel’ in the film, per his credit on his Spotlight page. Notably, but not surprisingly, said credit has been subsequently disappeared from his virtual resume - although BBC wisely secured a screen grab before this happened.
While Aris isn’t a widely known name, he’s appeared in a number of high-end productions, including multiple stints on SHERLOCK as ‘Anderson,’ THE WORLD’S END, and Ridley Scott’s upcoming THE MARTIAN.
