They’re calling it “Lavalantula.” I would have called it “Tarantulava,” but I imagine Syfy execs decided that didn’t sound stupid enough.
I also would have insisted the giant spiders spray the deadly lava not out of their mouths but out of their asses, in a way that evoked explosive, jalapeno-fueled diarrhea.
By some miracle three “Police Academy” vets – Steve Guttenberg, Michael Winslow and Leslie Easterbrook – were available to reunite for “Lavalantula,” which hits Syfy Saturday.
I almost got through this story without mentioning airborne sharks.
