Hey folks, Harry here... EXTRA caught up with Tom Cruise at the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: ROGUE NATION - and while that organization rarely ever has anything new to say, they actually got something cool out of Tom this time:
Tom setting the record straight on whether he will reprise his role as Maverick, “If I can figure it out, if all of us can figure it out, it’d be fun to do, I’d like to fly those jets again.” Cruise continued, “But we got to do all the jets practical, no CGI on the jets…I’m saying right now no CGI on the jets, if we can figure all that out and the Department of Defense will allow us to do it, that would be fun.”
This was all set to get moving when Tony Scott regretably passed away. That said... I love that Tom wants to do a second TOP GUN - and I love that he wants to do it with 100% real jets. That's the way to make it truly eye-popping! But also, much more dangerous. But if you're gonna fly on into the Danger Zone, you probably shouldn't be pushing pixels in Cruise's world!
