John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, writers of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2, THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE, and HORRIBLE BOSSES…who will also make their directorial debut with the upcoming VACATION movie (which they wrote as well)…look to be the writers of the SPIDER-MAN reboot picture.

The Jon Watts directed film, recently said to be inspired by the work of John Hughes, is currently angling towards a July 2017 release. The newest iteration of the Spidey character, now played by Tom Holland, will first be introduced in next Summer’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.
