I’ve previously gone on record as rather enjoying the film music of Christophe Beck (some of his early work included TV’s BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL, and his TOWER HEIST movie theme is one of my favorites).
When word came that he’d be scoring ANT-MAN, which opens this weekend, I was rather excited. Beck’s sensibilities and style seemed uniquely suited to this particular Marvel story.
The result? While we’ll have to wait a few more days to see how Beck’s work fares within the context of the picture itself, the composer has posted to YouTube the theme from the new movie - which is embedded below for your consideration.
