“Hannibal” mastermind Bryan Fuller was joined by star Hugh Dancy, actor Richard Armitage (the latest Francis Dolarhyde) and producer Martha De Laurentiis to talk about the fast-approaching storyline, based on Thomas Harris’ 1981 novel “Red Dragon,” depicting an imprisoned Dr. Lecter consulting with Will Graham on a case involving a serial killer dubbed The Tooth Fairy.
Three years will have elapsed between the next episode and the one after.
Reporter Freddie Lounds has a big role in the book, as does Graham’s wife Molly. The book makes no mention of Alan Bloom, a small, sad-eyed, heavyset and married man, having sex with Margot Verger.
NBC announced subsequent to the panel that “Hannibal” – recently cancelled by NBC – will be moving to Saturdays starting this week.
