We've heard rumors of a Hal Jordan/John Stewart buddy-cop take on Green Lantern, but it appears DC's plans for this universe are much more ambitious than that. Just moments ago at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con, the studio announced that GREEN LANTERN CORPS is headed to theaters sometime in the near future.
There's no additional information yet, but as soon as we have it, we'll post it here.
