Duncan Jones's long-awaited adaptation of the popular video game WARCRAFT is still a little under a year away, but it's San Diego Comic Con time, so why not give the fans an advanced sneak peek of what's in store?
Below are posters for the two main characters in Jones's film: the human Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and the Orc commander Durotan (Toby Kebbell). Neither character is a villain in Jones's movie. They're both leading two races who are either fighting to defend their home planet or claim a new one. Here's the official plot synopsis:
The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.
So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
